Political Earthquake in Iran?

As the elections are just 2 days away in Iran, we should begin to be thinking what if?  Of course we look at Ahmadinejad as fitting into Bible Prophecy, it’s obvious.  Of course Iran’s alliance with Russia fits like the final puzzle piece of Ezekiel 38.5.  But what if he loses?  What if the other guy, Mir-Hossein Mousavi wins, what then?  How would that fit?  Here’s one idea.  Today in the news, Mousavi supporters were in a contiguous line across Tehran, get this, 12 Miles long!  He’s what we would call a liberal in Iran.  He has already said that if he loses, he would contest this election since the “Supreme Leader” (Ayatollah) can rig the election.  His foreign policy is a platform of peace, building relationships, becoming part of the global community.  He welcomes talks with Obama.  he also is for moving the police out of the control of the Supreme Leader, and placing it under control of the office of the President and since the President is elected by the people, he believes the police belong to the people.  He wants to change legislation allowing privatization of T.V. and Radio, allow for more voices, since now the Governments owns and controls all the stations.  Well, needless to say this makes him wildly popular within Irans younger and female population.  Remember Iran is on the virge of another Revolution.   Whenever a country has had the “under 30″ population above 60%, a revolution ensued.  It seems that “change” is in the air, at least if the election is not rigged.  So what? What does this mean Biblically?  Well, it could be, that Mousavi, would make radical (i used that term carefully) concessions, he would slow or stop the Nuclear Weapon track, he would reach out to Obama.  The Mid East, and not to mention the World would breathe a sigh of relief, whew, that was close.  Mousavi and Obama would be a model and would Preach “kumbaya”, see we can all get along as Global Citizens.  The point is, it just could be the right “peace & safety” the Paul wrote to the Thessalonians about, before the sudden destruction.  Which means, look up, your redemption draws nigh!  Maranatha!
